E6000 Shoe GOO – Repair, Rebuild & Protect Your Footwear

E6000 Shoe GOO is the ultimate adhesive and sealant for repairing, rebuilding, and reinforcing all types of footwear. Specially formulated for shoe repairs, it creates a strong, flexible, and long-lasting bond that stands up to heavy wear, harsh weather, and constant motion. Whether you're fixing worn soles, sealing small holes, or adding traction to slippery areas, Shoe GOO delivers dependable results that outperform ordinary glues.

Key Features:
  • Industrial-Strength Bond: Designed specifically for the rigours of everyday footwear use.
  • Flexible & Durable: Dries to a tough rubber-like finish that bends with your shoes without cracking or peeling.
  • Waterproof & Weather-Resistant: Stands up to rain, puddles, and mud without compromising hold.
  • Abrasion-Resistant: Reinforces and protects high-wear areas, extending the life of your shoes.
  • Clear Finish: Dries clear for neat, discreet repairs.

Ideal For Use On:
  • Rubber and canvas sneakers
  • Leather dress shoes and boots
  • Skate shoes and sports cleats
  • Hiking and work boots
  • High heels, sandals, and flats

Usage Ideas:
  • Sole Repair: Reattach separated soles, patch worn heels, or reseal toe caps.
  • Hole Sealing: Fill and seal small cracks, punctures, or worn-through areas to prevent further damage.
  • Protective Layering: Apply to toe areas, soles, or seams to reinforce against heavy wear—great for skaters and outdoor workers.
  • Grip Enhancement: Create custom traction patterns on slick soles for better grip and safety.
  • Emergency Fixes: Use on-the-go for quick, durable repairs to keep you moving.

How to Apply:
  1. Clean and Dry: Ensure surfaces are free from dirt, oil, and moisture.
  2. Roughen if Needed: Lightly scuff smooth areas to improve adhesion.
  3. Apply Directly: Squeeze Shoe GOO directly onto the area to be repaired or reinforced.
  4. Shape as Needed: Use a disposable tool or your finger (gloved) to smooth the adhesive.
  5. Cure Time: Let dry for 24 hours. For maximum strength, allow 48–72 hours. Cure times may vary with temperature and humidity.

Tips & Tricks:
  • Use masking tape to hold parts in place while curing.
  • Apply in thin layers for large repairs, letting each layer dry before adding the next.
  • For neat edges, use petroleum jelly around the area to prevent accidental bonding where you don’t want it.

Clean-Up:
  • Uncured Shoe GOO can be cleaned up with acetone or citrus-based solvents.
  • Once cured, it can only be removed by cutting or scraping.

E6000 Shoe GOO is a must-have for anyone who wants to get the most out of their footwear. From simple fixes to full rebuilds, it delivers professional-level results without the cost of new shoes. Trusted by skaters, tradies, hikers, and everyday users alike, it’s the go-to solution when your favourite pair needs a second life.

How long does SHOE GOO take to cure?
A full cure takes 24 to 72 hours, depending on the surrounding environment. With lower temperatures and higher humidity, cure time increases; with higher temperatures, cure time decreases. To speed drying time, apply heat using a handheld dryer set on low. Hold dryer at least 6 inches from the surface.

How can SHOE GOO be cleaned up?
Small amounts of acetone or citrus-based solvents may be used on uncured adhesive; the adhesive will ball up and brush off. Cured adhesive may be removed by cutting or scraping.

Is SHOE GOO water resistant?
Yes. It is water resistant immediately upon application. Apply SHOE GOO directly to the surface to be sealed. Use thin coats of SHOE GOO to build a thick coating on the surface to be sealed, allowing each layer to set 3 to 4 hours. SHOE GOO hardens by solvent evaporation, so allow time for thorough hardening to ensure proper bonding and wear resistance.

What temperature range does SHOE GOO withstand?
Once cured, SHOE GOO will withstand temperatures between -40 °F and 150 °F (-40 °C to 66 °C).
