Is E6000 waterproof?
Yes, once cured E6000 is completely waterproof.
Does E6000 Dry Clear?
Yes! E6000 dries completely clear, unless you've bought the Opaque Black or White variety of course!
How long does E6000 take to dry?
Regular E6000 starts to get tacky in 2 minutes and begins setting in 10 minutes. It's usually touch dry in a few hours but takes 24-72 hours to fully cure and reach maximum strength. Quick Hold by E6000 is faster to cure than regular E6000.
Does E6000 work on all surfaces?
It works on most surfaces, but certainly not all. Regular E6000 is no good for Styrofoam or Styrene plastics, however Spray E6000 does work on those. It's great on most surfaces from metals to wood, plastics, glass, painted surfaces, rock, concrete and many more. Be sure to clean away any dirt, loose debris, oils and flaking paints, and where possible, abrase the surface to give extra tooth. We always recommend testing it first, as with any chemical products you may use, to ensure there are no random surface or chemical incompatibilities.
CAn I have my order Expressed?
E6000 contains an oxidising agent which may produce oxygen to aid a pre-existing fire. All items containing this ingredient are classed as dangerous goods and cannot travel by air. As most interstate express mail in Australia moves by air, we don't offer any express post options. Although some products we stock can move by air, and some customers may be in the same city as us, to avoid confusion, to be fair and to prevent errors that may inadvertently break international air transport laws, we have disallowed all express post. For customers in Brisbane and anywhere between Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast (excluding hinterland, some isolated pockets and the bay islands) and west to Ipswich (as far as postcode 4305) we are now using couriers who offer next day delivery in most cases.
Is COVID causing any issues?
We are based in Brisbane and working hard to dispatch your orders as soon as we receive them. There are obviously delays for mail into Victoria with Australia Post and for this reason we are trying to send most orders with couriers where possible. We are still receiving our regular shipments from USA and are still well stocked. We're receiving larger shipments more often to ensure we're able to supply without interruption.
